What's been going on....

Everything here is the same as usual. I've been waiting for something exciting to happen so I can post about it. The weather hasn't really been cooperating. There are days on end of tropical storm force winds (i've never been in a tropical storm, but i'm sure that our wind was blowing just as hard) that are accompanied by rain/slush/snow. There is even snow sitting on my yard right now as I type. In between all of that there have been brief moments of hope. Little bits of a somewhat decent day. We have tried to use this precious time wisely. We have been golfing a couple of times. Even if the weather wasn't perfect it was at least bearable. It was nice on the day that we branded, that always makes things run a little better. One day while we were working in the yard Lola escaped off of the deck. We have been putting her out on the deck for over a year now. We just used a baby gate to keep her from going down the stairs. It has worked just fine, but for some reason on this day she figured out how to get down. She was loose for about 40 minutes before I was able to catch her. That's pretty much it for us. Work is still going good for both of us, and we are very grateful for it. We really enjoy our simple, somewhat boring life and wouldn't trade it for anything. Last but not least, to my mother, my sisters, all my friends, any other moms who might read this, and me....(because i'm ChiChi's mom silly)... This world would not be the same without you.
