A day with munchkin

I got to spend the day with Gideon yesterday. We had so much fun. He helped me run lots of errands then he helped me clean the house. After that we went to my inlaws and saw the puppies and the kitties. While we were there we popped into the garden to get some fresh veggies. My mother inlaw always has the best garden with tons of stuff. After that it was time to go home and see how Cali was doing.

My blog awards

I chose the three biggest fashion statements. The 2nd runner up was a tie, but they made the same statement. It goes to Odi and Preston for sticking things to your face. The 1st runner up goes to dad for the ever famous look that we have all seen many times through our childhood. The winner of the best fashion statement is Shiloh! Sorry Shi but I couldn't help it. The white socks and shoes with the black outfit is just interesting(really I could search the blogs and find us all making a fashion statement at one point in time). I tag Hillary, love you all.

The Great White Rabbit Hunt

Have you ever crawled into a space with ease, but had a much harder time getting out? Similar to the kid who puts his head through the railing. It goes through with ease but has a harder time coming out. Let me introduce you to our night about two days ago. Lola found her way behind the dryer and into a little hole we did not even know existed. To the right of the dryer she found a way to get under my shelves. I tried to coax her out with some food, but with no success. I grabbed her at one point but seemed to get stuck and I couldn't get her out. I figured that she got in there and when she was hungry she would come out. When Kelly came home we tried again. It still didn't work. We went to bed and got up a couple of times through the night to check on her. It is not like her to not come out for her evening feeding, also she was letting us pet her and grab her but we just couldn't seem to get her out because of the angle. Finally at 3 in the morning we decided to cut a hole so she could get out. The hole that you can see to the bottom on the left is the one we cut. She went in an opening around the corner next to the wall. We had to move the dryer and unhook the vent. It was a pain. Yes, she did come out and we have fixed both holes. That's the story of the Great White Rabbit Hunt.(Needless to say we were both very tired the next day)
