The end of an Era
For some of you this post is going to seem silly, but for those who are closest to me they will understand. I have a dear friend whose name is Bonnie. All though I have many friends Bonnie is one of my oldest friends. Even if we only see each other once every couple of years it is like we didn't skip a beat. About 10 or 12 years ago(i don't know to be exact) I went down to Texas and spent a few days with her. We were both still in high school and in her art class she had learned how to do silk screens on t-shirts. So Bonnie, my sister, and I gathered a couple of t-shirts and she made us each one. She had a thing for sumo wrestler so that is what she put on them.
I don't know what it was about that shirt, but it was so comfy. I loved it, and wore it every where. I wore it so much that it literally started to fall apart at the seams. I did not worry I had taken home ec in school. So I got out some thread and sewed it back together.
That work for a while but after I had sewn it so many times it wouldn't stay anymore. Then from the wear and the wash it started to fall apart every where. That didn't stop me though I just put a tank top underneath.
It got so bad though I hated to wear it because I was scared to wash it. It might come out in threads. So finally I have decided it is the end of an era. I am officially retiring the sumo shirt. I know it is a sad day, but don't worry. I cut out the sumo guy and intend to attach him to another shirt. This is not the end it is only the beginning of a whole new sumo shirt journey.

Satement
I would like to make a statement. I don't want anyone to get there feelings hurt. This statement is not brought on by any one person or comment. It has been coming for awhile. I just post it because it is starting to get ridiculous. I can't hardly get through a conversation at work or wherever I may be without someone asking when we are going to start our family. For the record we started our family on July 21 2007. We have added to it a few times. Some of them just died or ran away. (That's why our new one has a cage.) Let me make this next part clear, WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN WE ARE GOING TO HAVE KIDS. It will happen when WE are ready. I promise to all of you when we know you will know. I just wanted to clear that up so no one has to ask again.

Birthday!
So it's my birthday and I have to say it has been great. I am not a person of many wants, and I have the things I need, so when someone asks what to get me I tell them I don't care. When you truly don't care what you get and you just love the thought, you will get some of the coolest gifts. To start with one of my friends gave me some flowers and a bottle of Captain Morgan.
I got some more flowers from my inlaws. They are beautiful lilies. The great part about them is that I can plant them and see them every year.
While Cami was here visiting a month ago she bought me a bead for my Trollbead bracelet. For those of you who don't know a Trollbead bracelet is kind of like a charm bracelet. The beads are designed by artists. Some of them are glass but some are not. Every bead has a meaning and they are all handmade so no two beads are exactly alike. It is something fun that I enjoy.
Cami bought me the bead called Caribbean. It is the dark blue one with the green spots. It is supposed to represent the blue water and the green scenery. She said every time I was cold I could look at it and think of warmer places and it would remind me of them. They also sent me a card that is a pickle. On the inside it says "I bet you didn't expect to get a paper pickle for your birthday." I have to be honest and say I did not expect that, but it is cool and now hangs on my fridge. Where else are you going to put a paper pickle?
Skye and Cali also gave me a bead. It is the one called Treasure. You can't see it very well in the picture, but it is the one next to Caribbean. I love it because it is so detailed. It has little shells, starfish, and coral on it.
Last but not least my husband gave me a great gift. As you all know my luck with dogs is not very good so instead we are going to try a bunny.
I love her, she is so cute and snuggly, and she doesn't bark. I am having a hard time coming up with a name for her though. Skye suggested GiGi and Lola. I like both of them but I was also thinking of Daisy.
Let me now what you guys think or if you come up with any good names. Over all I had a good birthday. I got flowers, jewelry, rum, a rabbit, and a paper pickle to top it all off. What else can a girl ask for?

Visitors-Wrestling-Life in between
The last month has gone by so fast. Here is a quick synopsis. Cami and her family came to visit. Yeah!! We had so much fun. Little miss Lily was darling, but before anyone asks, no we are not baby hungry. We went to Cody's state wrestling tournament.
I don't know about everyone else but we had a lot of fun. We are his biggest fans and we showed it with painted faces,
red hair, and painted car windows.
We even made made sure that the sister who wasn't there was represented. I can't believe we didn't paint her face though. That would have been awesome!
If you want to see more pictures check out mom's blog or Cali's.
We are so proud of Cody. He took second in the state at 140 lbs.
He is such a great example on and off the mat. What would our family be without baby brother?
I love looking at these pictures and knowing how close and supportive both our families are. We are so blessed.
Lily got to sit on her first cow. She loved it! I think she is a natural cowgirl. Mom however was not for sure about the snot and slobber getting all over her baby.
Lily also loves uncle Kelly. Well we are not for sure if it is Kelly or his hat that she loves so much.
In between work and all this fun we have managed to put together a few puzzles too.
Icicles
Ok so I meant to post this weeks ago, but time has gotten away from me. These pictures were taken the middle of February. If it gets a little warm outside the snow will start to melt and drip, but of course in Idaho Feb. is still very cold so it then refreezes and creates huge icicles. It only does this on the north side of the house because it doesn't see the sun that the south side does.

Within a week of taking these pictures it started warming up and we pulled them down before they did any damage. Now, even though it is not considered warm, it has warmed up enough that half of the snow is gone.

Ice Fishing!
Last Sunday Kelly took me ice fishing for the first time. I was a little apprehensi
ve, this is something I never thought I would do. For two reasons 1- I don't like cold & 2- I really don't like to be cold. However I do like to fish, and I live in Idaho. I am learning to tolerate the cold a little bit. I don't like it, but I can't change it so I guess I will have to deal with it. We borrowed a hut and heater from Kelly's uncle and set out on our adventure. We couldn't have picked a better day, the sun was shinning and the wind wasn't
blowing. In this part of the country that makes a huge difference in the temperature.
When we showed up there was a lot of people, but that was ok there was still plenty of room for us. (sorry about the pics, I didn't realize my camera was on b&w) It really didn't take very long to get set up and get the heater going. That little hut got warm in a hurry. Kelly's grandpa came with us and I don't think he ever left the hut. I had a great time and stayed quite comfortable. We did have to wait about 5 hours before we caught anything. Then a couple of schools came
by and we caught 21 fish in about 30 mins. All in all it was a great time and I would do it again.
