Halloween!
Ok so we didn't go all out on her first Halloween, actually we didn't do anything at all. We were going to trick or treat the grandma's, but Tyree has had a runny nose and the weather was nasty that night. So we just stayed home and passed out candy. I only put her costume on for the picture.
She hated the thing around her face. She did wear her witch shoes all night while we passed out candy.
I think they are so cute. As for an update, when I went to the Dr. this week we weighed her and she weighs 10 lbs. She is growing so fast. We go back to Tyree's Dr. for her 2 month check up in a couple of weeks, so I will have more to update then.

Hunting Season
It's that time of year again, hunting season. I love hunting every year, but this year I was even more excited. Kelly got an elk tag so he took a whole week off. We had such a great time spending the week in Gray's Lake. Tyree is a great little hunter, by that I mean she did a good job while great grandma watched her.
It was nice to be able to go hunting with Kelly.
We saw some beautiful country on our horseback rides. I absolutely love and treasure those moments with my husband.
We did get some animals but nothing very big. That's ok, it's still meat in the freezer, and we had a great time.
It was so fun having Tyree there. I couldn't wait to get her in camo, and yes one of my ladies got me the camo flower for her hair.

She also sat on a horse for the first time at a month old.
She is doing so good, and growing so fast. I can't believe how much she has changed already. By the way my sister Skye and her husband Ryan had their baby today, a baby girl. Congratulations we can't wait to meet her. Love you all!!

Two Weeks
Well, it has been 2 weeks. Everything has been going well. We have just been hanging out and trying to get adjusted to our new schedule. Tyree is a good baby. She doesn't cry to often, and at night she generally sleeps in 4 -5 hour stretches. Although I think I'm spoiling her because I hold her most of the time she is awake. Although "the books" say it's good for newborns, and you can't spoil them by holding them to much until they are over 3 months. She is very strong for how little she is. When you lay her on her belly she will hold her head up. Today we went in for her 2 week check up. They said everything looks great. She is perfectly healthy and growing well. She is now 8lbs 14oz & 22 1/4 inches. She's growing to fast already. The nurse had to prick her heel and get blood. She did not like that,(this is her mad face)

Tyree Kay !!
Finally!!! Sorry it has taken so long. Yes, she is finally here. Tyree Kay Crystal was born Sept 18, 2011 at 2:58 p.m. 8 lbs 21 in.
So here's the story. I went into the Dr. for my appt. on Tues Sept. 13. At that point I was a week overdue, and I was not dialated or effacing. He told me they would start me on Sat. So, Saturday evening at 6 we checked into the hospital.
The plan was to start me on cervidil, and you stay on it overnight. It is supposed to help you efface and then the next morning they would start me on the pitossan to get my contractions going. They got me started on the cervidil about 6:30, and it must have worked well because my water broke at 11 p.m. I wasn't really having any major contractions, but as soon as my water broke they started coming 5 min apart. At that point things started moving along pretty good. I got my epidural at 2:30 a.m. and I was at 4 centimeters. It was nice because I was able to get some sleep, but it did slow me down a little. They went ahead and started me on pit around 8:30 a.m. The rest of the morning we just waited and slept off and on. Finally at 2:30 p.m. they told me I could push and she was born at 2:58.
It was a great experience and everything went well. Kelly was awesome. I could not ask for a better, more supportive husband.
She was a healthy 8 lbs 21 inches.
I'm still wondering how she fit in my belly.
We got to come home Mon. evening and we have spent the rest of the week just trying to get in a routine. She is a good baby, and it has been fun. She definitely looks like her dad.
We have had lots of visitors, and we really appreciate everyone who has helped out.

A Few Last Minute Things
Well I am officially 2 days over due. The baby counter to the right should day say 2 days ago, not 2 days to go. It really hasn't been bad. With work last week and then the holiday I was looking forward to this week. It has been nice to have a little time to myself and get some last minute things done. One of the things is to get one last post up before the baby is born. I have been wanting to update for about 3 weeks. About 6 weeks ago one of our family friends came and took some maternity pictures for me. She is just getting into photography but I still think they turned out great. So thank you Becky, they are wonderful.

Also about a month ago my inlaws threw me a baby shower. It was beautiful, the food was awesome, and the weather was great.

We had a great turn out and got some awesome gifts.
Kelly's grandma crocheted this jacket.
We have truly been blessed through this pregnancy. We have so many family and friends, the love and support has been amazing. We just want each of you to know that we love you and thank you for being there and sharing this time in our life with us.
Well now it's just a waiting game. We went camping last weekend so we tried the bumpy road idea. It didn't work. I cleaned my carpets and moved all the furniture in my house and it still didn't work. We've even tried the love making idea. It hasn't worked yet, but we won't abandon our efforts on that one. So what do you do when your a day overdue? Yesterday I went golfing. It's probably not the typical thing to do, but the weather was beautiful and I got in a lot of walking. I might go again today. It has been nice having some time off. We will keep you posted. At the most we should have a baby some time the end of next week.
