Florida Pics!

Finally I am updating. We had Christmas and then Tyree and I made a trip to Florida so I have been pretty busy. I am going to post the Florida pics now and hopefully I will get the Christmas pics up before Valentines Day. On Jan 4 Tyree and I flew out to Florida to visit my family. Half of them were running the Ragnar Relay, and the rest of us decided to make it a full family get together. Besides who doesn't want to go to Florida in Jan? Cali, Parker, Tyree and I traveled together. The little girls did great on all of the flights. The first day we just relaxed and waited for everyone to show up. It was the first time for Tyree to meet most of the family. We took lots of pictures. It was so fun to meet Gage and Reagen for the first time. After the runners went out on Fri. we went to the everglades to see some alligators. There was Cami, and her 3 kids Lily, Ransom, Gage, and our brother inlaw Ryan (Skye was running) with their baby Reagen, and his mother Donna. Also me, Tyree, and Parker. Cali was running too. It was fun to see the alligators, and it still blows my mind that you just walk right by them with no fence. On Sat. we loaded up and drove down to Key West to cheer are runners across the finish. They did awesome and we are so proud. We took pictures at the southern most point, walked around a little, and grabbed some food. It was fun, but I would love to go back and spend more time one day. Sunday we sang in church, of course, and then relaxed. Monday was a big day because we went to Disney World. It was a first time me, and it was fun! There was way to much stuff to do. We definitely need to go back. Tyree loved it too, the rides and the light parade. Tuesday was our last day, so we stopped by the beach. We had been so busy that we didn't have time for Tyree to put her feet in the ocean. The day was beautiful. I wish our flight wasn't leaving later that day because I would have put my suit on too, and hung out. The important thing was Tyree got to wear her swim suit (grandma brought it back from Hawaii) and have her first beach experience. She is so cute!! That wraps up our Florida trip. It was such a great time and I loved being with my family. THE END!!

2 month update & Family pics

Tyree went to the Dr. on Wed. for her 2 month check up and shots. The Dr. says she is doing great. Her developmental skills are perfect and she is healthy. She now weighs 11 lbs. 9.5 oz and is 25.5 inches. That puts her 50% - 60% in weight and 90% in height. She is doing great, she loves to smile and coo at you. We decided to take some family pictures about 2 weeks ago. The plan was to do some of them outside in front of the barn, but the weather wasn't cooperating. I still think they turned out ok. I love the ones in the saddle. The big saddle is obviously one that Kelly won for bull riding. The little one is the one I used to use way back when my family had horses. We have been so blessed this year and we have so much to be thankful for. Our Thanksgiving was great. We love being with family, and as usual we ate to much. We hope you all had a great holiday too!

Halloween!

Ok so we didn't go all out on her first Halloween, actually we didn't do anything at all. We were going to trick or treat the grandma's, but Tyree has had a runny nose and the weather was nasty that night. So we just stayed home and passed out candy. I only put her costume on for the picture. She hated the thing around her face. She did wear her witch shoes all night while we passed out candy. I think they are so cute. As for an update, when I went to the Dr. this week we weighed her and she weighs 10 lbs. She is growing so fast. We go back to Tyree's Dr. for her 2 month check up in a couple of weeks, so I will have more to update then.

Hunting Season

It's that time of year again, hunting season. I love hunting every year, but this year I was even more excited. Kelly got an elk tag so he took a whole week off. We had such a great time spending the week in Gray's Lake. Tyree is a great little hunter, by that I mean she did a good job while great grandma watched her. It was nice to be able to go hunting with Kelly. We saw some beautiful country on our horseback rides. I absolutely love and treasure those moments with my husband. We did get some animals but nothing very big. That's ok, it's still meat in the freezer, and we had a great time. It was so fun having Tyree there. I couldn't wait to get her in camo, and yes one of my ladies got me the camo flower for her hair.
She also sat on a horse for the first time at a month old. She is doing so good, and growing so fast. I can't believe how much she has changed already. By the way my sister Skye and her husband Ryan had their baby today, a baby girl. Congratulations we can't wait to meet her. Love you all!!

Two Weeks

Well, it has been 2 weeks. Everything has been going well. We have just been hanging out and trying to get adjusted to our new schedule. Tyree is a good baby. She doesn't cry to often, and at night she generally sleeps in 4 -5 hour stretches. Although I think I'm spoiling her because I hold her most of the time she is awake. Although "the books" say it's good for newborns, and you can't spoil them by holding them to much until they are over 3 months. She is very strong for how little she is. When you lay her on her belly she will hold her head up. Today we went in for her 2 week check up. They said everything looks great. She is perfectly healthy and growing well. She is now 8lbs 14oz & 22 1/4 inches. She's growing to fast already. The nurse had to prick her heel and get blood. She did not like that,(this is her mad face) but the nurse kept commenting on how strong she was. The nurse was having a hard time keeping a hold of her foot. The other day I decided to take pictures, so I literally spent the whole day (in between feedings) having my own little photo shoot. They're not perfect but it was fun.
